Lesson 28: Blue and Green Landscape on Sized Xuan Paper

In this lesson you will learn how to paint a colorful Gongbi style blue-and-green landscape painting after Qing master Wang Yuanqii(1642-1715) with cicada wing rice paper(a kind of fine sized Xuan paper).

Demos and Assignments
1: Gongbi Landscape: Following the steps shown in the video class, please try to make a copy of the Wang Yuanqi landscape seen in this video on sized Xuan paper(none absorbent single sized, cicada wing or double sized, stone-bridge, semisized are all ok) at approximately 13.5" x 27" size, you may also doing it on a smaller or larger piece paper with same proportion.
2: Figure Painting: please trace and copy the Iron Crutch Li painting with none absorbent Xuan paper(see options above).
