Introducing the first Lesson of the Month! Lesson Number Eight: Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting - the Three Gorges of Yangtze

Step by step Henry illustrates the concepts and techniques of realistic style Chinese landscape painting with a demonstration of the Three Gorges of Yangtze.

At the end of the class, Henry invited Professor Chen Guangyi, who was a colleague of Master Huang in Nanjing Normal University, to write a poem by Li Bo in cursive style calligraphy on a large sheet of rice paper and then he created a poetic painting with inspirations of the Tang poem.
