This ink cake is pure genius! It works wonders: easy and quick load of ink, makes a nice range of shades in one stroke (unlike liquid ink which always ends up being just evenly grey on my paper!), and the ink has a slight cold/indigo hue to it compared to my ink sticks and liquid inks, it's very pretty. I showed this little wonder to my Mom and 3 friends, and they all had to have one, so I am reordering! The packaging looks good as well, all in Chinese, black, minimal! I will reorder for sure when this one is almost used up (I have to confess I'm using it at home and this wil be my go to ink from now on)!

This ink cake is for quick, easy use while traveling. It does this very well. I used this with a B10 Piston Waterbrush and it was the easiest thing to use. The ink mixes quickly for use. It can be seen on the brush so you know how thick it is. You can feel the ink when you paint. This is not liquid ink and does not feel like liquid ink but it is not supposed to be a liquid.
