Water droppers(Shuidi in Chinese or Suiteki in Japanese) are used by Chinese brush painters and calligraphers to hold and dispense exact amounts of water onto an ink stone for the purpose of grinding ink or mixing and diluting watercolor pigment.

1) A Song Dynasty Geyao Style Ice-crackle glazed water dropper

2) B Longquang style Celadon water dropper 
Height: 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) Diameter (excluding spout): 2-3/4 inches (7.0 cm)
3)  Blue and White Porcelain with hand-painted deco 
Height: 1-1/4 inches (3 cm) Diameter (including spout): 3-1/4 inches (8.0 cm)
