Celebrating the Lunar New Year in Asian Brush Painting and Calligraphy

Join us for a unique workshop celebrating the Lunar New Year through the art of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy! This enriching cultural experience will be led by Henry Li, a seasoned artist and instructor, and his wife Victoria, a skilled calligraphy artist.
You’ll learn to paint traditional Lunar New Year motifs such as plum blossoms, spring orchids, and Chinese garden rocks. Discover techniques for painting the snake (the zodiac symbol for the upcoming year) and other zodiac animals based on your birth year. Victoria will also demonstrate writing "Fai chun," traditional decorative Chinese calligraphy on red diamond paper.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediate artists—no prior experience needed! All basic materials are provided, with additional supplies available for purchase.
