Carmine chips come in dry pigments, made from the cochineal extract. It is very rich and fine which can be blended well with ink and other watercolors. Lightly glued, it produces the best results on rice paper.

Usage: take a few chips according to your need and add small amount of warm water to soak it before using. You may grind it with finger tip. Add more water to dilute it when needed in painting. Let remaining paint air-dry for reusing. A small box of color chips will last for many paintings.
